Description: Offered here is this Beautiful Antique Oval Back Upholstered Dining Side Chair. It is structurally in good condition but will most likely need to be reupholstered. The upholstery is in fair condition, with no holes, however, the trim around the edges is coming off in a few spots, and the beige velvet upholstery is very worn and has some stains on it and is worn and beginning to tear at the corners as well. The wood framing of the chair is in great shape, however, and has beautiful, delicately carved accents and details. The chair features straight, Federal Style fluted tapering legs. The chair has a delicate, hand carved detail sort of bow loop at the top of the oval backrest that is intricate and very nicely done. I am unsure of the age or manufacture of the chair. It is made in a light wood, with a more natural finish. The chair is 39.5” tall at the top of the decorative carved detail at the top of the backrest, 38.5” tall at the top of the backrest, 20” wide across the front of the seat, 17” deep at the seat, 18” tall at the seat, 23” long front to back total. This is a very nice antique carved wood dining side chair with a gorgeous oval back and amazing carved details that is sure to be a treasured addition to your antique furniture collection.
