Description: 8oz jar of BEACON FOAM-FILLERA NEAR PERFECT FILLER FOR BALSA AND FOAM! This product is basically a lightweight "spackle". Its terrific to smooth out your foam and balsa repair projects, and is perfect for model airplanes and other things. What's really great about it is that it dries with some flexibility, so it resists cracking! SEE THE IMPORTANT NOTE BELOW!Applies very smoothly, and dries quickly. Easily sand to a fine smooth surface. Can be thinned with water!Apply with a flat tool (small spatula, flat blade, old credit card) to fill dings, dents, small holes, and cracks. Use with balsa too! Cleans up with water! For best results, apply in thin layers. Thick layers take longer to dry and some shrinkage may occur.IMPORTANT NOTE: This is a water-based product and it becomes thicker while in storage, this is normal. The consistency can be adjusted by adding a small amount of water and mixing, then allowing it to rest for 8 hours. A tub which is almost completely dry is not "bad" - it can be completely reconstituted with as little as a teaspoon of water - after being mixed well and allowing time for it to rest. During typical use (when its used once a week for example), just a few drops of water added each time will help the product retain its original smooth texture and the product can be used for several years. Mix well before each use. Do NOT add a lot of water as this will cause the product to become soupy. Use in conjunction with other Beacon products, like Foam Finish and Hobby Coat finishing compounds. Why is this different than "Foam Finish"? Foam Finish is more "goopy" filler and has a built-in smooth finish. Foam Filler is just a plain filler, meant for sanding smooth. BUT - both products stay flexible & avoid cracking.
