Description: This item is in very good condition with some wear. Figure of a Boy and Bird, piped as a fountain, signed "BASHKA PAEFF SC." and marked along base "ROMAN BRONZE WORKS N.B. Paeff immigrated to Boston as a child from Minsk, Russia, and studied at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts. A version of this sculpture is in the Boston Public Garden near the Arlington Street entrance.
