Titled "Communications-Übersichtskarte von Tirol und Voralsberg" it shows railways, roads, paths, rivers, boundaries and landmarks. Dated 1879 the year of the Dual Alliance of Austria with Bismarck's Germany against Russia and France presaging their alliance in World War I, it is notable for showing the location the the 1799 victory of Austria's General Franz Jellacic (a Croat) against the French who had invaded neighboring Switzerland. It took place at Feldkirch. The map ranges from Lake Constance (Bodensee) to Lago di Lei, Hallein, Lienz to Conegliano. The map is complete with archival repairs to small tears.BONUS!: Baedeker's 1956 Tirol und Salzburg, Osttirol-Oberkärten Voralberg with 24 highly detailed maps and city plans of Bregenz, Salzburg and Innsbruck.
