Description: Astrophytum asterias v. nudum for sale here. Plant is in 2 1/2 inch pot with a single stem that is over an inch in diameter and high. A. asteriasv. nudum is a small size, usually solitary, with flat to globose depressed stem, up to 3-4 inch in width, dark-green to light green, sometimes bronzed in full sun. The superb feature of some of this plants is due to the intersection between the traits of the ancestors and make them very desirable. The main characteristic of this variety are the woolly areoles and no flekings. as the plants age the areoles become more and more large, woolly and colorful. The old specimen are often very handsome.Originally this variety find in Tamaulipas, Mexico.Plant ships bare root. USA and her territories ONLY.
