A 12AX7A, run on a separate regulated DC supply, provides a secondary gain stage that may be “worked” with the input control to deliver just the right amount of tube color to the input signal.Other features include: Input and output controls, +20dB gain switch, phase reversal and +48V phantom power. In addition to being a high quality microphone preamplifier, the Dual MP is an amazing Tube DI box. The tight, round low end and smooth high frequency response is ideal for bass, keys, and acoustic instruments.
