Only flaws noticed is at the spout of the pitchers, and possibly on the tip of one Mothers nose. Other than that these figures will not disappoint. Beautiful impressive figurine of mothers holding her baby in one arm and a pitcher in the other hand. Both mother and child have beautiful faces with a serene and content look on their faces. Very detailed, finely hand painted with Gold gilding on maiden's dress. This authentic figurine has an impressed sunburst mark in the back, and is also stamped with the Gebruder Heubach sunburst in red. Manufactory: Gebrüder Heubach in Lichte, Thuringia, Germany Imprinted on the porcelain: Heubach sun mark Depose, used 1882 - 1910 The manufactory was founded in 1822. The round “sun mark” became a typical feature of the manufactory. From 1910 the square “Heubach stamp” was used. In 1900, at the World Porcelain Exhibition in Paris, "Heubach" won the silver medal for quality.
