Description: Elegant antique French Valenciennes insertion lace trim in a creamy ecru color... Useful for doll costuming, embellishing apparel, bedspreads, pillows, etc., this insertion lace trim features an ornate, repetitive motif of scrolly paisleys, and is finished off with a straight edge along 2 sides. Measures overall ~36" (~1 yd) long,~1&1/4" wide, and finished along 2 sides. Appears unused. In overall very good condition considering age with a rare scraggly thread, inconsistent yellowing with mild soilage & occasional light spots, & very mild fraying mostly along the unfinished edges. Though none are noted, there may be a rare tiny break or subtle manufactural joint.
