Description: Antique Villeroy & Boch-Mettlach-Made in Germany. From the late 1890"s or early 1900's. The lid is missing, but these can be replaced. Also, it must have been used quite a lot as the glaze is worn and smooth on the handle. It is marked on the side 1/ L and on the bottom with Villeroy & Boch Mettlach Made In Germany. The inside is pretty and unique with a mottled design. Except for the wear to the glaze on handle it is in excellent condition-no chips, cracks or other damage. If you don't want to replace the lid, it would make a great coffee/tea cup. Measures 3 3/4" tall x 3.5" across the bottom . Please email any questions. Thanks for looking.
