Description: For sale is a antique Stanley Everlasting steel cap, bevel edge chisel, weighing 8.5 oz., with steel measuring 1-3/16" wide X 3-5/8" long, and 6-1/4" long overall, with handle. Signed with the very faint remnants of "Stanley" with unreadable remnants of patent dates, it has been significantly shortened by a previous owner, as pictured. The edge is somewhat rough with some light chipping , and will respond well to honing and sharpening by a experienced hand. The wood handle is sound and solid, but also showing use and wear, all as pictured.
