Description: Antique Sevres style porcelain vase. France, circa 1925. This is a PRETTY and ANTIQUE Sevres style porcelain vase, in the Art Nouveau taste and period. ALL hand painted and decorated in high relief flowers, on a yellow background color. Flowers in white, green, light blue and pink colors. Outstanding detail. 2 gilt bronze handles in quality casting detail. The top ( neck ) and bottom ( base ) decorated with enamel cloisonné on bronze ( brass ). Stamped underneath FRANCE with another signature ( but can’t read it ) see photo ( probably the artist name. Please see photos carefully to admire the beauty of the vase. Dimensions : H : 12.25 inches ( 34 cm ) W : 5 inches ( 12.5 cm ) Depth : 3.5 inches ( 9 cm ) Weight : 2 lbs 1 oz ( 940 grams ) The heavy weight, related to the size, reflects the thickness of the bronze and porcelain, authenticity of the piece. Condition report : No chips, cracks or any damage to the porcelain. No dents or any damage to the bronze Cloisonne. Colors and enamel well preserved. I detached, cleaned and waxed the bronze.
