Description: Antique Queen Louise Doll*** Bisque Head with Jointed Composition Body *** This listing is for a very old, Queen Louise doll which we believe was made by Armond Marseille. Her head is bisque with absolutely beautiful blue glass eyes. The back of her neck is marked "Queen Louise Germany". Higher up on her head it is marked faintly "288" (the second eight is higher up with a line under it, but numbers are hard to make out and it is hard to tell if the numbers are 2s. 3s, or 8s). Her long hair is strawberry blonde and it is a tangled mess right now. Her body is jointed, composition. We could not get her undressed to take a picture. The body has tan streaks of paint or varnish. There are joints at the shoulders, elbows, hips, and knees. She measures approximately 18" tall. Please view photos for condition details.
