Description: Here is a very worn and weathered farmhouse country chair that has a lovely patina with faded paint marks from its original look. I believe this chair is probably over 100 years old but hard to know for sure. I believe it's pine but it's a solid and heavy pine. The plank seat is almost 2" thick and it's still quite strong and sturdy. It was originally a painted chair and the subtle remnants still give it a charming and nostalgic feel. All four feet are cut on a slant to the inside of the chair. It is a fairly dark brown color at this stage and it was mostly likely a black chair with yellow accents when it was new. A chair like this lends itself to all sorts of purposes from bathroom to hallway to kitchen and everything in between. It's a nice example of rustic farmhouse chic combined with the ruggedness and simplicity of basic country furniture. All it needs now is its new home for the next 100 years!
