Made by Dressel Kister & Co. in Passau, Germany around 1900, it features a Young Faun chasing rabbits design. I cannot find another example of this centerpiece after a lot of research. This comes from the estate of family who emigrated from German shortly before WWI. Measures approx. 11" long, 7" tall and 7" deep. Beautiful condition with no chips, cracks, losses, or repairs. Can't ask for better condition. Marked to base with Dressel KIster & Cie Bishops Crozier, incised number and incised initials. See images.
