Description: This unique vintage Mid Century Santa candy container is a heavy cardboard type of paper mache, and is covered with red sparkles! He is wearing his high Santa hat, and stands 12” tall, and is about 3” wide. Since he was actually used as a candy holder for Christmases, he has a little indentation in his hat above his eyes, a fold at the top of his hat, a few smudges on his face, a bit of darkening on his pipe cleaner trim, and color loss on his nose. His head still comes off cleanly ! This would be a welcome addition to your Mid Century German Christmas Candy container collection, as well as to your vintage Santa collection!
