Description: Estate find, so unfortunately no provenance to this interesting French Rosalie bayonet. 25” blade, 30” overall length, cruciform blade. Total weight 6 ounces. Marked both Paris and Made in France. WW1-era most likely. Handle is obviously custom. Appears to be made of a “found” piece of large mammal rib bone, possibly of a mammal between 5’5” and 5’ 10” tall, that walked upright.
