Description: Antique divers helmet brass hand pump. This is solid brass well made pump, see photos well. Note pic with this type pump attached to helmet, they really were used in shallow water dives, just not a lot of photos around. I used one attached to a bucket when i was a kid. My dad came home and saw me underwater with my buddy pumping away!! :-). He didn’t like it too much but i showed him it worked well…. This pump has a mechanical lever design to assist pumping. Brass with solid wood handles. Well made. Pump cylinder has a 2-1/2” bore and a 6” stroke. 28” overall with it metal -cast stand Letters spell out ? SCDC BTE L VIVIEN. On top Very very rare. Hard to find
