Description: Hand hammered antique copper pan. I believe it is late 1800s/early 1900s. You can see from the pictures the quality of the workmanship. Slight cracks on the edges but in perfect working condition. We use it for baking, cooking and serving. If you're making candies/caramels, copper is ideal as it heats and cools quickly, keeping the candies from overcooking. We use it quite frequently for cakes and pies - again the quick cooling stops the cooking once it's removed from the oven. Great for baking vegetables as well. Lastly, for sauces it's a great way to make a roux. Note: I would not use it with anything acidic like vinegar or lemon juice. The pan is 12" across and 3" deep.
