Description: Normal 0 false false false EN-GB X-NONE X-NONE Antique c1920's German "Urgos" Chiming Mantel Clock with Domed Oak Pillared Case. This is an antique early 20th century c1930’s German "Urgos" chiming mantel clock. This is in outstanding condition and is in full working order. It has a beautiful domed oak body with decorative oak and brass pillars/columns. The oak has a medium/dark brown coloured finish with a darker visible grain and a soft subtle shine. The face is circular in shape with a silver coloured metal chapter ring, black coloured numerals and black coloured hands. The face is protected by a convex glass door with a brass bezel. The glass is in excellent condition with no scratches, chips or cracks. To the rear is the door to the mechanism chamber. The door is intact and also in excellent condition. This chimes (on a coil) on the hour (chiming the numbers of hours) and on the half hour (once). This comes complete with its pendulum and key. The clock was cleaned and serviced on the 13th August 2024.
