Description: Antique 19th CenturyBirdseye Maple Frame This medium sized picture frame has birdseye maple veneer over what pears to be pine wood, as well as its original glass. Inside the frame is a blank donation certificate, that supported the building of the Washington Monument in the early 1880's, The outer dimensions of the frame are 10 by 12 inches, the opening dimensions are 6.5 by 8.5 inches. Original condition, birdseye maple veneer has a single two inch chip, a single half inch chip, a single 4 inch split in veneer, see photos.
