This is a three legged tea stand with detailed carvings of peacocks and vines. Made in Japan. Designed for tea that was traditionally served on the floor. Exquisitely detailed. Stand opens and folds flat when not being used with hinges that are fastened to the stand. Some of the screws in the hinges have been replaced or repaired. RARE. Condition is antique pre-owned.
