Description: What an amazing find! Original antique 1880-1890 Victorian era family photo album! Complete with 45 tin type and sepia photos inside the album and a bonus 6 loose tin type stills. There are also two additional non tin-type loose photos. Very interesting photographs including Victorian era women in the fashionable dress of the time. Really great photos of babies and children as well as men of the era. Its an extraordinary peek into life in the late 19th century! The album is leather bound and has sustained some damage. The front and back leather covers are in good shape however the front cover is missing a stud. The binding is missing so part of the album is detached. The original brass buckle is still in great shape and closes. The pages have wear and some are damaged and not all hold photos. Please see the pictures. This is a beautiful album that is a lot of fun to look at and would be an excellent addition to any vintage photography collection.
