Description: A rather amazing replica of the Chinese Qingming Scroll, around 12ft 9in long in total, with the scroll section 153in approx. The overall width is 36cm, with the print 388.62cm wide approx. (Based on these measurements I think a life-size reproduction, but not fully sure) The paper print is mounted on blue brocade, which in turn is on thick white paper, in a tight roll and with a brown ribbon tie. The scroll unrolls from right to left, and shows detailed scenes with trees and figures, accompanied by calligraphy. I think this reproduction dates from the 1970's or 80's - there's some wear to the box, which has been reinforced with sellotape, but the scroll is in good order with no damage or major or wear. And (153IN LONG) This exquisite hand-scroll paint titled "Along the River During the Qingming Festival" is a beautiful antique reproduction from China. The artwork is done on silk and fabric, with a multi-color palette that brings the scene to life. The painting is pre-1800 in age and depicts a festive scene during the Qingming Festival. The artwork is perfect for collectors of antiques, Asian antiques, and paintings & scrolls. The painting is categorized under Antiques, Asian Antiques, China, and Paintings & Scrolls. It is a great addition to any collection and will be a valuable addition to your home décor.
