Description: Albert Radford Pottery Jasperware Vase, Shape 79, Blue/White Beautifully executed vase with a finely detailed classical female figure in white applied to each side and a garland draped along the top. The background is a medium blue with striations running through the clay. Similar to the famous Wedgwood Jasperware, this lovely pottery was made by the Albert Radford Pottery in Ohio for less than a decade, beginning in the 1890s. Unusual in that the vase does not have the typical bark texture overlay seen in most of the larger vases produced in Radford's Zanesville plant. All Radford pottery is scarce and makes a wonderful addition to any pottery collection.Condition: No chips, cracks, repairs or noticeable crazing. Sprigging is in excellent condition, with just a few tiny specks of loss . Marks: Impressed #79, handwritten Albert To 11. Dimensions: 9 1/2" high, 6" wide, 5 3/4" deep.
