Double knotted upon two foundation layers about 100 knots per square inch per foundation layer (100x2 = 200kpsi). Old world laborious vegetable dye techniques still unmatched. Organic dyes oxidize over the century giving lighter and darker tones of red and blue, a beautiful affect called 'abrash' by collectors.
