Turn off the water supply. 2. Carefully remove the old shower head using pliers or a small wrench. 3. Clean the threads on the shower - arm pipe by removing any old PTFE tape or plumbers putty. 4. Apply PTFE tape around the threads of the shower- arm pipe in a clock-wise direction. Three turns around the threads is more than adequate. 5. Screw on the new showerhead making sure that the threads are properly aligned and that the new showerhead turns easily on the shower- arm. 6. Hand- tighten and then, using the pliers or wrench, tighten only 1/4" additional turn. DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN This shower head has been in the original packaging since 2017. This morning May 5th 2023, l removed it from its paper packaging so I could get some photos. I apologize for my photos, they show shadows on the white paper they were photographed on. There aren't any shadows, the product is new old stock, and is in excellent condition. The poly bag the shower head is in, the sealing strip on the upper right is bent from storage but it's still intact.
