This is the 30 November 1965 one hundred gold Escudos. The banknote has a blue design over a tan and multi-colored underprint. The front has the image of Camilo Castello Branco, the famous 19th century Portuguese writer, to the right. The back has the same color scheme as the front and depicts the image of the City of Porto in the 19th century at left. The note has two signatures on the front as well as the denomination, date and serial number. This particular note has the serial number Z12985, which is displayed twice on the front of the note but not on the back. It is also marked Ch.7. on the front. The back also displays the denomination but not the serial number. The banknote has a watermark depicting the image of Camilo Castello Branco. It is marked Cem Escudos Ouro or One Hundred Gold Escudos. The note has a segmented thin security thread near the right edge. Please carefully view scan as it is part and parcel of our description. Condition: I would grade this banknote as a nice crisp uncirculated with all the details being well preserved. The note has no folds but or creases. The corners are intact, fully squared with no rounding. The note has no tears, splits, pinholes, graffiti, or stains. It is clean with no soiling and the edges of the note are intact with no signs of damage, roughness or nicks. The note is in its original crisp uncirculated condition.
