All kits are carefully custom hand wired to order. Only the best quality parts are used including vintage Gavitt cloth covered wire just like they used back in the 50's and early 60's. You will not find a better built product or selection. This Kit Is For: Gibson, Epiphone 3 control Explorer style guitar using a 3 way r-angle toggle switch located in pick guard. Prewired with 4 separate cloth covered Gavitt wires 18 inch length. Enough wire to reach from switch thru wire cavity and into 3 control cavity. Double check your guitar type switch / compare to photo. 3 way short r-angle toggle switch specs:Threaded portion 3/16" / 15x32 x 32 threadsRequired mounting hole diameter 1/2"Required body cavity depth 13/16"Switch length 2" (check your cavity for enough length for good fit)Note if your guitar switch cavity is smaller and will not accommodate 2" r-angle type switch (has short straight toggle switch) we can use a straight Switchcraft type switch (requites 15/16" depth). We will substitute cream tip if they are in stock. Although these harnesses are pre-assembled and tested they do require some soldering to connect the pickups and output jack. A 25 - 40 watt soldering iron is recommended. Make sure you feel comfortable with making these connections. Each harness is custom built after purchase and with the high demand for our product my lead time to build your harness before shipping is 5 to 10 business days.
