The White leather interior is in great condition with some minor wear on the driver's side armrest and seat; I rate it a 8/10. The vehicle runs flawlessly and has no issues mechanically, whatsoever. Oil change, all fluids, and all filters have just been serviced/replaced as well. No service lights, maintenance requests, et cetera. The vehicle functions perfectly and sounds phenomenal. It has plenty of power, shifts smoothly, and is as well balanced as any Mercedes should be. Again, the car is completely ready to get in and drive; there are no service lights illuminated, nor any maintenance items are needed.Please see below for a complete build sheet and video. As far as the title goes, the car will come with a Rebuilt branded title.The vehicle has never been in an accident, it was purchased as a Salvage branded title. As an ASE Certified Mechanic, I deal with these types of vehicles all the time and this is not the first rebuilt vehicle I have sold here on eBay. In this particular vehicle, the engine ingested water. All damage was contained to the engine itself - not a drop of water to the interior passenger cabin. The water was fresh water, not salt water. This is NOT a hurricane car. The issue was that fresh water was sucked into the engine through the air intake. This choked the engine whenever the car tried to start and seized the engine. On this car, we rebuilt the existing engine. Once we dropped the engine, we found two slightly bent connecting rod. we replaced two connecting rods. We put everything back together with brand new spark plugs, new oil, and new filters and the car has been driven since without any issues. This vehicle we actually sold roughly 24 months ago. The customer ended up just trading this in for another vehicle. He has put roughly 31,000 miles on the vehicle since he purchased and the car has performed flawlessly and was always serviced with us. Most of the time when an insurance company takes possession of a non-running car that hasn't been in an accident, the car was typically involved in a flood. I'm a very specific buyer and will not buy or sell a vehicle that has had water breach the passenger cabin. None of the cars I sell on eBay will have had water anywhere other than the engine bay. I do purchase collision/accident vehicles as well if there are extenuating circumstances, but that is rare. 90% of my vehicles are non-accident cars that needed engine work.What is the difference between a salvage-titled car and a rebuilt-titled car?A rebuilt-titled car has been fully repaired and then subsequently inspected by the state and given a "rebuilt" title. This means you will be able to register the car like any other vehicle in most states. A salvage title would not be able to be registered. With our Rebuilt title, most states are business as usual in terms of registration and you will not need to do anything extra/unusual to register the car once you make your purchase. NY/NJ will require one additional salvage inspection and California will still require a smog check.Can I still obtain financing on a rebuilt title?It is more difficult to obtain financing on a rebuilt-titled car. Most major banks will not finance a rebuilt title regardless of your relationship with them or your credit score. There are a few banks that will, however. Lightstream is the easiest - they are an online bank that will finance the car based on your credit score (you will need to have excellent credit). USAA bank and Wells Fargo will finance the total purchase amount. PenFed will finance up to 50% of the actual car value. Additionally, many other credit unions will finance rebuilt titles as well.Can I still insure a rebuilt-titled car?You will be able to insure a rebuilt-titled car the same as any other vehicle. Pricing/premiums are not any different or more expensive. It is still possible to have your rebuilt-titled car covered with full/comprehensive coverage, the only difference is if you were to total the car further on down the line, your insurance company would deduct a small percentage from the valuation of the car at the time of payout.
