The eagle’s wings and tail feathers form the subtle shape of a heart while a background pattern of tobacco leaves reinforces the eagle’s teachings. On the back of the coin the effigy is gold plated. The words “Elizabeth II” and “Fine Silver 1 oz Argent Pur” are around the rim of the coin. On the left is the date “2014”, and on the right is “9999”. First Nations People across Canada have long marveled at the eagle’s unique vision and many groups have selected it to represent “love,” one of the Seven Sacred Teachings for a full and happy life.
