Description: This is a seat assembly with TMI Sport cover and foam for 1969 Chevelle. This was assembled using a new stock seat frame. The sport cover and matching foam is manufactured by TMI to provide extra bolstering and support at the sides. The cover pattern matches the factory cover used in 1969, but the shape of the seat is slightly different than a stock seat due to the extra bolstering. This listing is for one (1) single seat assembly, and again, is not an exact match for a stock seat. You will need another TMI sport cover and foam set to make a matching seat. The good news is that you can use a stock seat frame. And standard type bucket seat backs and side skirts will fit these seats. The condition of the seat is overall excellent. It was assembled for a project car a few years ago and then it sat in dry storage. It was never installed in a car and never put into service. There is a light rub mark at the top rear which I'm guessing would disappear with an application of some vinyl protectant. For the sake of accuracy, I will also note that the hog rings visible on the seat back do show some light surface rust. The new seat frame alone would cost you $400, so this is a great deal for someone who wants to run only one seat, or wants to save some money on putting a set together.
