Parker, Senior Vice President, Finance; director and member of the executive committee; Charles F. Parker, 54, was born in Clovis, California on January 30, 1912. He is a graduate of the University of Southern California with a B.S. in chemistry and a M.A. in chemical engineering. Parker joined Union Oil Company as a junior inspector at its Los Angeles Refinery in 1932. He worked in the refinery and in the Research Department until 1941, when he moved to Union Oil's head office in the Economic and Planning Department. In 1956, he became Director of Economics and Planning, and, the following year, vice president. He was named Vice President for finance in 1962 and elected a Senior Vice President, director and member of the executive committee in 1963.
