Description: Prior to the most commonly used mask on the planet, the BD-9 two bar, was the BD-1 mask with no vertical supports. After just a year it was realized the more commonly used one bar was slipping right between the BD-9 causing havoc. The two bar did offer better protection but more work was needed. This reproduction two bar mask comes in standard gray as it did in the 1950s. This mask comes complete with mounting hardware. Fits all full size helmets from the era of the 1940s - 1980s and of course all reproduction suspension helmets. If you are looking for original masks please contact us direct.
