Description: PRODUCT DESCRIPTION1944-D Mercury Dime graded by PCGS at MS68 with CAC Endorsement. COMMENTSExtremely Attractive Suberb Gem+ PCGS graded Mercury Dime with impeccable characteristics. This specimen has some of the smoothest satin surfaces and finish that you will find! The strike for this specimen is solid as evidenced by bold crisp device elements for all of the coin's features. The luster that bounces off the satin surfaces is excellent not to mention the eye appealing tones that blend in. Each side of the coin has lovely original tones that add to the overall appeal. While PCGS has some stats for this grade that are notable, it's the CAC pop that gets real interesting. At MS68, CAC only has 18 coins (2 straight grade and 16 with FBs) with only 1 higher. We'd wonder how many of those 18 coins are this lovely! As far as CAC is concerned, this is a much more rare coin than PCGS indicates! We think you will love this coin much more in your hand despite our photos that truly represent the beauty on this specimen! Feel free to request other photos and we'd be happy to provide. We shot a couple different sets of photos with good lighting to honestly reflect the coin's characteristics but no filtering or doctoring - all natural photos! As eBay sellers, we want to be sure there is no mystery with coin you are buying!!!
