Description: 1936 Big Little Book #1194 Buffalo Bill Plays a Lone Hand. Hard cover. Book is in good condition for its time. Spine is strong, covers attached. A little aged inside but no rips or marks. Cover is aged (see pics) but book overall is nice. An early view of Buffalo Bill and his exploits with the Native American's. These stories spawned a whole generation of children playing "cowboys and Indians" and soon onto tv in the 1950's with the popularity of the cowboy shows. Historically accurate it is not, but it created the myth of Buffalo Bill of the time. Wonderfully illustrated in b/w. Original hard cover publication by Whitman Publishing Co. and made in USA.
