No doubt, Pershing’s insights after this war helped shape the thinking of future American generals. The book and slipcase are in very good condition. Some rubbing/chipping/shelf wear along the edges, corners, and top/bottom of the spine panel. Light sun fading along the spine panels of the jackets as well as some chipping. Boards are straight and clean with bright gilding. The spine and pages are very tight. There are no other marks, tears, book plates or writing in this book. Heavy wear to the slipcase along the edges and panels. The edges of the slipcase are frayed and torn. Please review all photos for your best idea of the condition.
