Unfortunately, I have not been able to find much more information about this man. His name is printed at the top left corner, where he is identified as being both the president and treasurer. He is also identified at the top right corner as being one of the directors of the company. The letter is addressed to railroad agent W. K. Sanderson of the Maine Central Railroad. This is William Kennedy Sanderson (1863-1939?), who began his career as a telegraph operator. Later he worked for various railroads before joining the Maine Central. Sanderson was also a director of the New England Traffic Association and of the American Association of Freight Traffic Officers. He was a member of the Executive Committee of the Maine chapter of the YMCA, a member of the board of directors of the Maine Central Railroad and the Boston & Maine Railroad Association. Sanderson was also a member of the Portland Country Club, the Society of Colonial Wars, and president of the Maine Society of the Sons of the American Revolution.
