Description: This is an 18th Century English Teapot circa 1790 by Newhall. It is of silver or diamond shape, decorated in pattern #173. It is hand painted on a white ground with red checked decorations plus blue and red flowers. It measures 6" in height, 4-3/4"x 5-3/4 base diameter, spout to the end of the handle is 9" and Lid diameter is 2-3/4". This is one of many teapots we will be listing from the estate collection of the previous owner of the well known shop on Royal Street, New Orleans - Le Petit Soldier Shop. Thank you for looking.
