Description: 1879 Edison Replica Lamp General Electric Lighting Institute Nela Park Cleveland Ohio. This Replica Lamp was made and distributed by General Electric in the early 1970s. The lamp operates on 120 vac and can be connected via the post connections on the base. This lamp is not designed to be used as a light source. It does not have a UL label. The lamp was only connected in the attached photo to demonstrate that it is operable and that the filament is intact. Lamp is approximately 6 inches tall and felt covered base is approximately 4 inches in diameter. Please note the felt on the base is missing in some areas, see photo 4.
