(Br. 1980; d'E. 1687), Later striking with 'cornucopia + BRONZE' poinçon, early 20th century. King Louis-Philippe sent his son François d'Orléans, the Prince de Joinville and an admiral in the French navy, to St. Helena to bring back the remains of Napoleon on La Belle-Poule, a 60-gun frigate. The Prince sailed from Toulon on 7 July 1840 and arrived in St Helena on 8 October. The body passed through Rouen on 10 December and arrived in Paris five days later.
