Description: This is an Oval / Oblong Tray- called an "Ice cream Tray" in the original catalogs. Great for easel display.Measures: 13-1/2" long by 8-1/2" wide top rim. High curved sides and 2-3/4" tall on the ends. Wonderful oblong shape. This is from the American Brilliant period (1870 to 1920's).This is a gorgeous design with huge whirling Buzzstars called "Dixie" and it was cut by Quaker City co. Catalog calls it "shape no 21" blank which is extra thick, heavy & sparkles all day long.Condition: It is over 100 years old . It has 1 tooth on the side where a little chip has come off the inside of the tooth- minor and no one will ever notice. I found a small nip on the outer edge of another tooth no one would ever notice.. You may find a tiny bit of typical micro "contact nips" inside the top rim that no one will see if you feel for it, but is considered invisible. . great for display or use.
