Description: You are looking at a ticket stub for the game between the Philadelphia 76ers and San Francisco Warriors which took place on November 4, 1966 at Convention Hall in Philadelphia. In just the seventh game of the season for the 76ers, and 10th for the Warriors, no one knew this would be a preview of the NBA finals. The Sixers has won their first six games of the season, while the Warriors were 5-4. Rick Barry had a monster game for the Warriors scoring a game high 46 points (on 39 shots) and grabbing 8 boards. Nate Thurmond chipped in a double-double of his own. Unfortunately, Wilt and the 76ers were on a mission. Buying into the well rounded game approach, Wilt stuffed the stat sheet with a triple double, scoring 30 points, snaring 23 rebounds, and dishing 13 assists. Wilt was on the record respecting Thurmond's strength, but he was no match for Wilt on this date. Chet The Jet Walker also scored 30, and Hal Greer nearly had a triple double of his own with 27, nine assists, and seven boards. Please take a look at the scans for condition. I have been a long time ticket collector and will be posting many additional tickets in the coming weeks. The item you see pictured is the actual item you will receive.
