Shrimps are good with few community fish and get along well with other smaller non aggressive fish such as guppies, platy and mollies. Rocks, plants, gravel, and lots of hiding spaces are recommended to create a comfortable environment for them to thrive. Our Shrimps are not picky eaters and do well with a mix of high-quality sinking shrimp pellets and occasional shrimps’ lollies. ACCLIMATION PROCESS:Do Not Float Shipping Bag in Aquarium!Step 1: Pour entire contents from the shipping bag into a clean fish safe bucket/Cup. (Should be able to hold 3-4 times the amount of water shipped with the fish.)Step 2: Start a siphon using an airline tube from the aquarium they are going into, to the acclimation bucket the fish/Invertebrate are in.Step 3: Set the drip rate to 1-2 drips/second using an inline valve or tie the airline tube in a knot if a valve is not available. Step 4: After about 1hr increase the drip rate by 1-2 drips/second.Step 5: When the volume of water in the acclimation bucket gets close to the top, discard 1/4-1/2 the water in the acclimation bucket. Step 6: Repeat steps 5 & 6, 1 time for every .2 change in PH from the shipping water to the aquarium water. (Shipping water PH = 7.2) If your aquarium water is 7.6 the difference is 0.4 (0.4/.2 =2 hrs of acclimation)Step 7: On the last time discarding water from the acclimation bucket drain the bucket down to a point where the fish/Invertebrate just has enough water to cover its body.Step 8: Sit the shipping bucket sideways into the aquarium and allow the fish/Invertebrates to freely swim into the aquarium.
